Steve is the sole owner and qualified broker of Scoggin Blue LLC. He has been in hotel/motel asset value assessments and direct marketing of hotel/motel properties since 1979. Prior to joining the firm, Steve received a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from New Mexico State University in 1976, and subsequently managed several Texas based hotels. Since 1979, he has personally generated direct sales in excess of $200 million.
Steele is a recent graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Business Information Systems. Joined Scoggin Blue in 2018 as an intern then attained a license in 2019.
Robin joined Scoggin Blue in 1977. She is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New Mexico since 1988. She was appointed and has been the Office Manager at Scoggin Blue since 1989.
Byron B. Hinton graduated with honors in May of 1979 receiving his B.B.A. Degree from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas. His area of concentration was International Trade and Finance. He then went on to receive his M.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in Real Estate and Finance. Since his graduation in 1981 he has been engaged in the valuation of and counseling regarding financial assets. Currently he is involved in real property, personal property, and business valuations as well as market and feasibility studies for various types of residential and commercial real estate development. Mr. Hinton has qualified and testified as an expert witness in state district court, county commissioners’ hearings, and federal bankruptcy court in related valuation matters. Mr. Hinton has also been trained as a professional mediator. Mr. Hinton was asked to serve as the real estate consultant for the Austin Film Society. He has also served for two years on the Gillespie County Appraisal Review Board hearing property tax disputes.
