Scoggin Blue was founded in 1959 by Van Scoggin and Ted Blue. They sold hotels and motels, and that's still what we do. My dad, Steve Blue, is the qualifying broker today, and I work with him.
Our story
Three generations of the Blue family have worked in the firm: founded by Van Scoggin and Ted Blue, then Steve Blue, and now Steele Blue, the third generation.

Our business is hotel brokerage. We help owners price and sell hotels and motels, and we help buyers find properties that fit. We qualify buyers before they see your numbers, keep sales confidential, and stay on the deal until it closes.

We're a member of Hotel Brokers International, which puts our listings in front of member brokers and their buyers across the country. HBI member since 1959. CHB is HBI's Certified Hotel Broker designation, held by Steve Blue.
